Dorey found herself looking for a better and safer place for her family of 6 to live.

First, we helped her find a more affordable apartment closer to her current employer.

As she was moving into a larger apartment, she needed additional furniture, including beds for her kids. We were able to bless her family with a couch, two beds, and a kitchen table for family meals.

Moving her family into a better environment allowed Dorey to focus on other things like furthering her education.

La’Shay has recently escaped an abusive and violent relationship. Being friends with one of our existing clients, she reached out to us for help.

We worked with her to create a plan for her to go back to school for nursing, and also provided needed furniture for her and her two sons.

With a small donation from a donor partner, we were also able to give her a sizable gift card for food and essentials, so that she would not feel pressured to ask her abuser’s family for help.

LaShay is currently still a client.

The Nelson family has had the pleasure of experiencing being a blessing to one of our current families.

After asking our client if they would allow it (we always respect our clients' privacy, and it is the client's choice whether to participate in this portion of our program or not), we set up a "follow your blessings experience".

The Nelsons were able to take the client's wish list and fill it. We then arranged a meeting between the Nelsons and the family they offered to bless.

They had first received pictures of where the furniture they donated had ended up, and wanted to do more to help that family. We worked with the client family to put together the wish list, and the family agreed to meet the Nelsons when the donations were delivered.

At the family's request, we are not sharing their pictures publicly to honor their privacy.
