A humble father of six who once found himself needing help and found it within the community of non-profits serving San Antonio. While taking advantage of all the services offered, he was inspired by the many acts of kindness he experienced, and by all the resources available.

Motivated to help and to give back once he found his path, he set out to find a gap in which he could help. He eventually started asking people if he could pick up unwanted/replaced furniture, promising to get the items to a family that needs the blessing. Things took off and now we are in a space where it is time to create the structure needed for this to be its own method/resource that helps our community on San Antonio’s East Side*.

Using his lived experience within the community, Chris has identified some of the root causes behind his own needs, and seeks to help others by addressing those same causes and those same needs. He hopes to motivate people and help move them in a better direction and toward a more sustainable lifestyle.
